TOMSK, May 16 – RIA Tomsk. Revenues to the Tomsk region’s budget from retail trade increased by 33.5% in six years – up to 2.1 billion rubles, the head of the regional department of consumer market Natalia Zabavnova told; she said that more than 17 thousand people work in this industry, 13 retail chains are represented in the region, the largest are Yarche! and Maria-Ra.
Earlier it was reported that the retail trade turnover in the Tomsk region in 2020 was 173.4 billion rubles, in 2019 – 170.9 billion. But the index of actual volume of retail trade fell by more than 2% and amounted to 97.9% of last year's level (the national average of the index of actual volume is even lower – 95.9%).
"In 2020, revenues from retail trade were 2,098 million rubles, an increase of 33.5% compared to 2015 (in 2015 it was 1,572 million rubles). The average number of employees in the industry is 17.2 thousand people, or 6% of the total number of employees in the region. The average salary – 28,568 rubles (an increase of 51.6% since 2015, then it was 18,836 rubles)", – Zabavnova said.
According to her, there are currently 13 retail chains operating in the region. The largest number of stores have OOO Kamelot-A (Yarche! distribution network): according to 2GIS service, they have about 100 stores only in Tomsk and Seversk (in total – 690 supermarkets in Siberia and the Moscow region). In the second place is OOO Roznitsa K-1 (the Maria-Ra distribution network), which has 114 stores in the Tomsk region.
At the same time, as follows from the data of the SPARK-Interfax information-analytical system, OOO Kamelot-A (registered in Tomsk in 2007) ended 2020 with a net loss of 2.1 billion rubles (in 2019, the loss was 1.4 billion), but the company's revenue increased from 54.9 to 55.8 billion.
In turn, OOO Roznitsa K-1(registered in Altai Krai in 2005) made a net profit of 2.1 billion in 2020 (about 600 million more than in 2019) with a total revenue of 107.9 billion.
