TOMSK, Sep 27 –
RIA Tomsk. Participants of the Open Data forum, which will
be held in Sevastopol from September 30 to October 2 with the support of TSU,
will discuss the development of educational cyber programs and university
eSports, Aktru software and hardware complex for hybrid learning developed by
TSU and industrial partners to be presented, the TSU press service said.
Earlier it was
reported that Tomsk State University (TSU) will hold an annual forum on open
data in Sevastopol. Among the invited participants are teams from leading state
universities, representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education,
and heads of industrial partners. Initially the forum was scheduled for
September 17-18, however, as the TSU press service representative explained to
RIA Tomsk, it was postponed to September 30 - October 2 due to the defence of
projects under the Priority 2030 program by universities.
"During the
presentation "University eSports: how to start correctly and not to make
mistakes" speakers will discuss the issues of organizing joint educational
cyber programs and holding eSports events involving a wide range of project partner
universities," the statement reads.
It is added that
the forum will discuss the results of systematic research of the situation with
the quality of higher education in the context of widespread transition to a
blended learning model, prepared by experts of the University Consortium on Big
Data. The participants will also be presented the Aktru software and hardware
complex for hybrid learning developed by TSU together with industrial partners.

In addition to
the business program, presentations and master classes will take place during
the forum from partners, including Open Mobile Platform, REDSOFT, TrueConf, and
the Center for the Study and Network Monitoring of the Youth Environment
"The forum
will give universities the opportunity to come together to develop a very
challenging area - data processing in education. Projects like this are very
much needed to understand the specifics of learning and to optimize these
processes as much as possible. So far, not many places have implemented this,
and it is very difficult for a university to do this alone, cooperation is
needed here," the press service quotes TSU Rector Eduard Galazhinsky.
