TOMSK, July 23 – RIA Tomsk. Handwritings of Emperor Alexander I and holy man Feodor Tomsky are absolutely similar: it is visible in hardly noticeable details in an outline of letters, in psychological features of writing, the president of the Russian graphological society (Moscow) Svetlana Semenova told to journalists on Thursday.
"They (hardly noticeable details) didn't change at all. When he was 24 years old, these signs and dominants were written in the way that when holy man was 80 years old, they were the same even by the size. The graphology allows to claim that Alexander I and holy man are the same person", – was told by Semenova.
According to her, Feodor Tomsky's handwriting matched Alexander's I handwriting on an outline of many symbols.
The handwriting expert added that imperial manuscripts are also similar to manuscripts of holy man.
She specified that she found also full coincidence of writing between handwritings of the wife of Alexander I Elizabeth and a nun Vera Molchalnitsa who as well as her husband dramatized her death and devoted herself to a holy life.
Holy man
It is a legend that an old man arrived to Tomsk in 1837 and called himself Feodor Kozmin (Kuzmich). One of versions is that actually he was Emperor Alexander I who abdicated in favor of his brother and imitated his death in Taganrog and let to wander across Russia to pray for forgiveness.
Feodor Kuzmich spent last years of his life in Tomsk where he was sheltered by a merchant Semyon Khromov. Holy man's gait and all his manners shown that he was well-educated.
Holy man died in 1864. He bequeathed to bury him in Tomsk in the Bogoroditse-Aleksiyevsky Monastery. Holy man's grave became a pilgrimage place. At the beginning of the XX century the chapel was built over it.
