TOMSK, Apr 20 – RIA Tomsk. Tomsk plant "Sibkabel" (enters in "Cable Alliance Holding", uniting cable assets of LLC "UMMC-Holding") plans to buy the equipment in Europe; until the end of 2016 the company will hold a tender to get pressure line and the drawing equipment, the head of the company Alexey Kochetkov has told journalists on Wednesday.
Earlier it was reported that "Sibkabel" plans to spend in 2016 a quarter of one billion rubles for modernization of the equipment.
"We plan to carry out modernization of shop of cables of rubber isolation. Now we conduct negotiations with producers of the equipment – German, American and Finnish firms on purchase of the new pressure line specifically for rubber insulated cables. Plus, we conduct negotiations on the drawing equipment with Italy, Spain and Germany", – Kochetkov has explained.
According to him, by these types of the equipment it is planned to hold the tender this year. He has also noted that only the pressure head line for shop will cost the enterprise 2,5 million euros.
"The matter is that the cable equipment in Russia was never made and at the moment isn't made. Only if there is simple equipment, the basic is always imported from abroad. Exchange rate, of course, a little spoiled us a life, but we continue to work, we have orders, will come up", – the head of the company has added.
Earlier it was reported that in the fall of 2015 the enterprise has started in Tomsk the most modern shop in Russia on production of insulating rubber. On acquisition, installation, commissioning of equipment and construction of the workshop area of six thousand square meters in total was spent about 570 million rubles, the expected payback period - six years.
