TOMSK, 24 Jun – RIA Tomsk. JSC Siberian Chemical Plant (SCP, is included into fuel company of Rosatom TVEL) found the investor who is ready to invest about 1 billion rubles in creation of production of titanium dioxide, CEO of the enterprise Sergey Tochilin told on Friday to journalists.
Earlier it was reported that the investment council of Rosatom has approved the project of creation of production of titanium dioxide in SCP, which is a basis of white paint and various dyes including food. The production will be based on the effective fluoride technology developed in Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU). According to SCP, titanium dioxide isn't produced in the Russian Federation.
"We found the Russian investor who wants to finance the project. We wait for a final decision in June", – Tochilin told.
He specified that, as was planned earlier, the project will be realized in two turns. In 2017 trial production of 5 thousand tons, in 2019 – industrial on 20 thousand tons will be started.
According to Tochilin, the volume of investment, necessary for start of the first stage, is about 130 million rubles, for the second 780 million rubles are needed.
Earlier it was also reported that production will be organized on the areas of SCP, the main expenses are required on production of the equipment.
