attend open lectures of the leading Russian and foreign scientists –
participants of the largest interuniversity conference in Russia which will
pass on the basis of Tomsk universities, the press service of Tomsk State University (TSU) reported on Friday.
According to the university, 600 students, graduate students and young
scientists will participate in the XIV international conference "Prospects
of Fundamental Sciences Development". The conference will take place on
the basis of TSU, Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU), Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR) and Tomsk State University of Architecture
and Building (TSUAB).
"The scope of many open lectures can be interesting not only to
researchers, but also to general public. So, for example, TUSUR scientist will
make the report "Big problems of the small planet Earth. A view from
space", TSU scientist will give a lecture on "Imbalance of
investments of time – energy in life spheres as a nethod of advanced
self-management", – is said in the message.

As follows from the program of the conference, TSU scientist will give a
lecture on the genetics of mosquitoes, and the scientist of the Scientific
Research Institute of Medical Genetics of Tomsk National Research Medical
Center will talk about natural selection in human populations. The open lecture
will be read by the professor of the University of Münster, the founder of the
Marcotech OHG, specializing in the production of new medical materials, Lothar
Heinrich.
As the press service of TSU specifies, the scope of the conference envelops the
main fundamental sciences: physics, chemistry, mathematics, IT technologies,
economics, electronics and biomedicine. In performances will be provided both
results of basic researches, and the applied technologies created on their
basis.
