TOMSK, Jan 2 – RIA Tomsk. Production of products from young horns of deer – punts – for clinics of east and Chinese medicine will be started since 2018 in the Lipetsk region; unique equipment for raw materials dehydration made at Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) will be used for its production. Baths, ointments and medicines
"Production from young horns of deer – punts – we will begin in 2018 for clinics of east and Chinese medicine. It will be slices of punts and dietary supplement from pantogematogen received from blood of deer", – one from owners of production Evgeny Likhatsky reported TASS.
The production from young horns and blood of deer contains a lot of iron, proteins and amino acids, it is used in treatment of anemia (deficiency of iron in organism), for regulation of level of cholesterol in blood, strengthening of cardiovascular and immune systems in the east.
Likhatsky specified that the cut of punts and blood sampling from vein of dappled Manchurian deers is carried out on the sparing technology: an animal is put to sleep. About 60 kilograms of the components used in medical bathtubs, as a part of ointments and other remedies will be received from 100 heads of donor reindeer herd.
It is reported that there is a laboratory equipped with the equipment released by Tomsk Polytechnic University at the production. Test work of the production in the Krasninsky Region of the Lipetsk region was begun in November, 2017.
Useful drying
As the leading engineer of the Department of High Voltage Electrophysics and High Current Electronics of TPU Fedor Sekisov told RIA Tomsk, the equipment for low-temperature vacuum drying is used at the production, which development began at the polytechnic university in the early nineties. The price of one installation is about 2 million rubles.
"Drying takes place in a vacuum with a pressure of 0,01 atmospheres and at a temperature about 30 degrees. This way allows to keep all useful properties of natural raw materials. The dryer can be used for the different purposes in the most different branches: from drying of wood in agricultural industry to production of dry dosage forms in pharmaceutical industry", – Sekisov reported.
According to Sekisov, their equipment for drying of maral blood enjoys special popularity in Altai – in the different companies (on production of dietary supplements, pantogematogen, sports food) about 20 units are put. Now polytechnics test the vacuum dryer in which not water, but infrared radiation will be used for heating of a drum.
