TSU interdisciplinary magistracies become one of recruitment leaders

TOMSK, Aug 12 – RIA Tomsk. Documents reception to Tomsk State University (TSU) magistracy ends on Monday, entrance examinations end on August 15, and on August 20 will be enrollment to state-funded places. Jurisprudence remains the most sought-after area, but interdisciplinary master's programs are becoming more popular, the head of TSU new recruitment department Evgeny Pavlov reported RIA Tomsk.

"Today (on August 12), we are finishing accepting documents for the magistracy of Tomsk State University. At the moment more than 2.5 thousand applications for 1000 places of master's degrees programs have been received, which is 10% more than last year. The last entrance examinations will be held on August 15, on August 20 there will be crediting to state-funded places, and to paid ones - by the 30th", - Pavlov said.

This year master's degrees programs are open in 55 areas of training and includes more than 110 educational programs. The most popular - is jurisprudence: 12 people claim one place. However, autonomous master's programs (AMP) are becoming increasingly popular: 43 applications were accepted for 20 places in the "Big Data Mining" program, 30 applications for 10 places in the "Eurasian Integration" program.
