The
day before a holiday dedicated to Russian culture took place in TPU for
them. There students tried Siberian berries, played Russian chess,
learned about traditions of Russia. Kiryanova explained that "the
success of work in any international team is also that its participants
respect different cultures. Therefore, we consider it very important to
introduce them to Russian culture".
She
added that TPU will further develop the model of training of foreign
specialists for domestic and foreign objects working on Russian
technologies. The university plans to create new projects with Rosatom
and replicate this model of training at Russian enterprises, which build
or plan to build objects of foreign economic activity in foreign
territories.
"Today
we are interested in preparing foreign students who will not just leave
for their countries after graduation, but who will work in one way or
another for the Russian economy, with Russian technologies. We hope that
there will be more such projects in Tomsk, and our new future campus
will contribute to the emergence of even more talented students in the
region", – Kiryanova said.
