TOMSK, Oct 12 – RIA Tomsk. Tomsk native Victoria Sergievskaya rose to the highest step of podium at the World Youth and Junior Sambo Championships held in Tashkent, is reported on the website of the regional division of All-Russian Sambo Federation on Saturday; specified that the student of Tomsk State University (TSU) became the best in the weight category of 56 kilograms.
According to the federation, in the capital of Uzbekistan from October 11 to 13 is held World Youth and Junior Sambo Championships among young men and women in sambo. The Russian national team includes Tomsk sitizen - master of sports, student of the Tomsk regional sports school of the Olympic reserve, student of TSU Sergievskaya.
"Acting in the weight category of 56 kilograms, Victoria climbed to the highest step of the podium", - is said in the statement on the website of the department.
The report contains a comment of the trainer of native of Tomsk Denis Vyshegorodtsev, who called the competition difficult: “This is probably the case when I am satisfied with the result, but not very satisfied with the quality of the fight. It is difficult to analyze now”.
