part of our identity, that we are moving up (in the ratings) so quickly,"
said TSU Vice-Rector for International Affairs Artyom Rykun during the presentation
of the ranking, which took place on Tuesday on the website of Rossiya Segodnya
International News Agency.
As Oleg
Solovyev, Editor of the Round University Ranking, noted at the presentation,
seven Russian universities, including TSU, entered the top 100 leading
universities of the world in terms of teaching quality. "This suggests
that the quality of education in Russian universities is higher than all other
indicators. The leading universities in Russia are at the world level," he
commented.
