Tomsk basketball school graduate, central player Alexander Kaun became a new
player of NBA team (National basketball association of North America) Cleveland
Cavaliers from the State of Ohio in the USA, is reported on the official
website of the team.
"Cleveland Cavaliers signed the
contract with central player Sasha Kaun, it was declared by the general manager
of the team David Griffin today", – it is told in the message.

Kaun was born in Tomsk. He was
trained in basketball sport school No. 6 of Tomsk. His Trainers were Yury
Chernenky, Vyacheslav Rastorguyev. After receiving the secondary education he
went to study in the USA on a student's exchange.
In the spring of 2008 he debuted as
a part of the Russian national basketball team and signed a contract with CSKA
basketball club (Moscow) where he played for six seasons and became the
five-time champion of Russia, the five-time champion of League of VTB. He is
the bronze prize-winner of the Olympic Games 2012.
In the past season of NBA Cleveland
Cavaliers which is headed by the former coach of the Russian national team
David Blatt, reached the playoffs final, however Golden State Warriors beat
them in four victories series (4:2).
