TOMSK, Nov 11 – RIA Tomsk. Scientists of Institute of Monitoring of Climatic and Ecological Systems (IMCES) of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science in Tomsk took out the patent for the device which due to unique principle of work can diagnose more precisely than analogs, and also it will be simpler in use, the press service reported.

It is explained that in the world there are devices for diseases diagnostic on the exhaled air. But some of them are too expensive and difficult in use, and others can't do it with high quality as they are not able to analyze all range of marker particles (molecules of the exhaled air which indicate existence of diseases).

"It (Tomsk device) surpasses all existing analogs in sensitivity. <…> If it is required, it is possible to make the device even more sensitively. The method allows to control all molecular components of the gas environment at the same time, there are no physical limiters", - the press service quotes the author of the project Dmitry Petrov.

It is specified that the size of device is just like computer system unit, it consists of a laser, gas ditches, optical components and a spectrometer. The whole system works by the principle of spectroscopy of combinational dispersion of light: waves of special light radiation, reaching particles, allow to identify precisely a molecule of substance and to define its quantity.

According to the press service, there are no analogs of the developed device in IMCES. It needs completion now. It is supposed that after completion of works the device will also be able to analyze a condition of a patient in only some minutes, now it requires about half of an hour. Completion of the device and its release on the market requires about 10 million rubles, and now scientists look for investors.

"The analysis of gas composition of the exhaled air is a perspective method of diseases diagnostic because medicine of the future is constructed by noninvasive methods. If we manage to create such device, it will give a serious impulse to development of the direction", - Petrov is quoted in the message.
