TOMSK, Dec 3 – RIA Tomsk. The Russia's first training center of the Eaton Company, which creates devices for automation of processes of energy management, was opened in Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU); power engineering specialists will be trained in the new center and different control systems will be developed, the HR director of Eaton in Russia Natalya Bulycheva told.
According to her, Eaton is one of the leading international companies in the field of systems of electric, hydraulic, mechanical energy automatic control. The company automated management of the Bolshoi theater of scenic systems in Russia and carried out projects for Olympic venues in Sochi. It is supposed that Eaton will be able to advance the technologies and to test them through TPU center.
"We chose Tomsk not incidentally. TPU is the largest higher education institution entering top-10 of the country and holding serious positions in the international ratings. <...> This training center is the first in Russia", – was told by Bulycheva at opening of the center.

As the head of the department of electrotechnical complexes and materials TPU Alexander Garganeev explained to journalists, the center is necessary not only for training of students to work with the devices which are used at real factories, but also for creation of new devices and technologies for management of autonomous power systems – from emergency supply for refrigerators to a complex of plane systems.
He noted that representatives of Russian companies will be able to be trained in the TPU center either. There is already an arrangement with one of the Krasnoyarsk enterprises.
The vice rector of TPU for educational activity Yury Borovikov emphasized that the higher education institution cooperated with the German company Moeller Group within several years, and then with Eaton which bought it. Scientists of the higher education institution were engaged in scientific researches together with foreign colleagues and were trained there.
