TOMSK, Jan 11 – RIA Tomsk. Scientists of Tomsk State University (TSU) develop the catalyst which is used by production of gasoline and rubbers; it is supposed that the Tomsk substance will be several times more effective than analogs, the CEO of special designing and technological bureau "Katalizator" Vitaly Khan reported.

"We cooperate with TSU in science: we are engaged in production of catalysts, and TSU – in scientific development. The terms of the beginning of production depend on TSU now – it will be started as soon as we receive an industrial prototype of the catalyst. I think, the catalyst will be received during 2016", – Khan told.

He specified that this catalyst is necessary for receiving isobutylene – substance which is a raw materials component for production of rubbers or the octane additives in gasoline. It is supposed that the substance will be used both in Russian, and in the world markets.

"The catalyst will be better (than the direct analogs existing now in the market) in all most important parameters, first of all, in an exit of a target product from raw materials", – Khan noted, having specified that the efficiency of the catalyst is influenced also seriously by quality of the equipment at manufacturing enterprise.

According to TSU, about 300 million rubles were directed on the catalysts development. It is supposed that the bureau realizes catalysts for 50 million rubles in 2017, and for 250 million rubles till 2022.
