TOMSK, Jan 19 – RIA Tomsk. Residents of Tomsk estimated quality of education in the city more positive than in other regions in Russia, it follows from results of the research of the Rosgosstrakh Center for Strategic Research, devoted to quality of life in the Russian cities.
"Among the considered (38) cities it is possible to receive the best education in Tomsk, Krasnoyarsk and Yekaterinburg, according to the respondents. Worst education situation is in Makhachkala, Tolyatti and Naberezhnye Chelny, according to people", – it is told in the text of the research.

In particular, a share of those, who considers that it is possible to get a good, modern and quality education in Tomsk made 96%. This indicator makes 92% in Krasnoyarsk, 91% – in Yekaterinburg. The anti-leader of the rating is Makhachkala – only 56% of the respondents positively estimated quality of education in the city.
In general, the researchers note, that now 83% of residents of large and average Russian cities positively estimate quality of education. However, in comparison with the 2014th year, this indicator decreased by one percentage point. Thus only 9% of participants of the research say, that their city have enough educational institutions.
"Today there are not enough preschool institutions (in Tomsk region this problem for children over three years is completely solved), sports schools and sections, and also professional schools in the large and average cities", – the authors of the research noticed.
There are six state universities in Tomsk now, where more than 60 thousand people are trained. Two of them – Tomsk State University and Tomsk Polytechnic University – are participants of the 5-100 program for increase of the international competitiveness of the Russian higher education institutions.
