TOMSK, Jan 27 – RIA Tomsk. The governor of Tomsk region Sergey Zhvachkin submitted to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Russia Dmitry Rogozin the project of creation of the Siberian center of robotics in Tomsk; among activities of the center is creation of robotic complexes for research of hydrospace and the Arctic shelf, the regional administration reports.
It is specified that the presentation of the Siberian regional center of robotics and perspective researches took place on Wednesday in Moscow within a meeting of board of the military-industrial commission of the Russian Federation, which is headed by Rogozin.
"With Foundation of perspective researches we are ready to formation the program of activity of the center of robotics and perspective researches. The center can rely on the potential of the scientific and educational complex of Tomsk region, the developed scientific cooperations with higher education institutions and institutes as in Russia, and abroad, and also technological capabilities of the operating innovative productions", – Zhvachkin is quoted.

It is noted that among key activities of the center the governor called creation of robotic complexes for research of hydrospace and the Arctic shelf, technological platforms for automation of robotics, specialized complexes in the field of biomedicine, perspective telecommunication systems, and also training and retraining of experts.
The head of the region added that the regional administration is ready to allocate necessary rooms in the engineering building of the Tomsk special economic zone for future center. Rogozin, in turn, entrusted to consider the Tomsk initiative.
