TOMSK, Mar 4 – RIA Tomsk. The company "Elcomplus" (Tomsk) created
innovative software for a radio communication system, which was established in
the Facebook offices; it expands voice communication for employees, and in the
future will allow to determine their location, the marketing manager of the
Tomsk company Julia Zvonkova informed RIA Tomsk.
She specified that Tomsk development – SmartPTT software – is intended for work
automation of the radio communication dispatcher. The software expands
capabilities of the radio communication system on platform of Motorola company
Solutions, which is a partner of "Elcomplus".
"Facebook became a client of "Elcomplus", having set in the
offices created software. SmartPTT allows to create radio communication
networks for a large number of subscribers, providing them with new
opportunities for interaction, for example, communication via radio channel
with the telephone subscribers, simplified work with radio stations when moving
around the office and a quick call to the dispatcher with instant determination
of where the employee is", – she said.

According to Zvonkova, the radio communication system on the basis of Tomsk
software is currently installed in the head administrative Facebook office, as
well as in the office that manages the activities of the international market,
in Menlo Park (California, USA). The system covers 22 dispatchers and 800
manager-employees of the American company.
"At the moment, Facebook employees use the function of voice communication
for interaction within the workflow. Further it is planned to expand
capabilities of the system and by means of SmartPTT dispatching part to add
task management of subscribers, employees positioning inside and outside the
office. Very few decisions in the world can provide such quantity of
functionality", – she specified.
Under the information of "Elcomplus", SmartPTT software delivers in
more than 65 countries of the world for the Procter & Gamble Company,
Shell, Rosneft, Lukoil, Gazprom. Also the software is used at the airports of
Nassau (Bahamas) and Miami (USA), and in 2014 it was used at four stadiums at
the FIFA World Cup Brazil.
