TOMSK, Mar 25 – RIA Tomsk. Production of stop valves for the objects of "Gazprom" will
begin at the Tomsk Vakhrushev Electromechanical Plant (TVEP) by the middle of
2017, the head of the factory Ivan Pushkarev informed on Friday within the frameworks
of exit meeting at the enterprise.
Earlier it was informed that the memorandum on the
establishment on the basis of TVEP of domestic antisurge and control
valves, as well as electric drives to them the Ministry of Industry and Trade
and "Gazprom" have signed in 2015. Investments into the project
will amount to about 1.5 billion rubles.
"(Start of production) – is the second quarter
2017. We are focused on locking and regulating equipment. We are ready to
provide the full range of this technics. Completely different (than in
analogues) types of development are applied, which are used at the request of
customers –"Gazprom", – Pushkarev has told.
The head of the factory has noticed that production
will be created until the middle of 2017. Before TVEP domestic enterprises did
not produce such devices, and mining companies have used imported ones. The
funds in the project realisation will put the company "Tomsk mechanical
engineering technologies" – a joint venture of TVEP and LLC "Gazprom
investment project".

He has underlined that the Tomsk equipment, in
particular, antisurge and control valves and drives to them, on technical
characteristics are not inferior analogues, and in some parametres – are
superior to them. This was achieved due to the fact that in its production will
be used developments of Tomsk scientists.
"That's what we like to call the export-oriented
import substitution – when Russian enterprises create something considerably
better, that has prospects <…> for export, replacement of
competitors", – said, in turn, to journalists the deputy minister of
economic development of the Russian Federation Oleg Fomichev.
Tomsk governor Sergey Zhvachkin added that the new
production of TVEP – "a vivid example of the Tomsk industry development
within the frameworks of the concept "INO Tomsk", according to which
the factory get an "enormous effect" from cooperation with the gas
company.
