Tomsk.Tomsk State University (TSU), Federal Research and
Production Center (FRPC) "Altai" and the leader of the European space
industry Airbus Safran Launchers will discuss how the technologies and
materials created by the Siberian scientists can improve security systems in
planes, is told on TSU website on Thursday.
It is specified that representatives of Airbus Safran
Launchers participate in the HEMs conference – 2016 "High-energy
materials: demilitarization, counterterrorism and civil application",
passing on the basis of TSU. During the visit to Tomsk representatives of the
company discuss questions of interaction with scientists of the university and
FRPC "Altai".
"First of all we are interested in new technology
of production of cold gas which is capable to improve work of security systems
in airliners. At the conference in TSU the joint developments made in this
direction by FRPC "Altai" and TSU professor Alexander Vorozhtsov will
be presented. These data are very interesting to us", – the representative
of the Airbus Safran Launchers company Gilles Gonthier is quoted.

It is explained that it is about creation of a compact
low-temperature gas generator for pressurization of elastic covers of emergency
chutes. Also French experts and the Siberian scientists will discuss ways of
receiving of new materials by combustion of which the minimum quantity of toxic
substances released into the air.
"With the TSU scientists and FRPC
"Altai" we have reached full mutual understanding, and it means that
together we can solve any technical problem", – quoted Gonthier in the
message.
According to the university, Airbus Safran Launchers
enterprise is the Airbus and Safran SA joint project. Airbus — is one of the
largest aircraft-building companies in the world, makes passenger, cargo and
military transport planes under the name of Airbus. Safran SA — is the French
industrial conglomerate working in the field of electronics and high
technologies.
