TOMSK, Nov 2 – RIA Tomsk. Siberian State Medical University
(SSMU) and the Danish company "Novo Nordisk" signed the cooperation
agreement in the sphere of advance of a healthy lifestyle and healthy nutrition
on Wednesday, the ceremony of signing took place within the congress
"Zdrav 2016", the correspondent of RIA Tomsk from the scene.
Earlier it was reported that SSMU started the "School of Healthy
Food" project, in its framework school students and students suffering
from excess weight will be able to visit free of charge the endocrinologist and
to learn how to lose weight. Information on a healthy lifestyle and food with
comments of experts is already placed on the eda-deti.ru portal.
As the correspondent of RIA Tomsk reports, the agreement was signed by the
rector of SSMU Olga Kobyakova and the representative of the "Novo
Nordisk" company (Denmark) Alexander Kulkov.
"Despite the fact that they ("Novo Nordisk") are interested in
the greatest possible number of patients, feeling the social responsibility,
they help us to advance a healthy lifestyle, healthy food", – Kobyakova
told RIA Tomsk, specified that the Danish company is one of leaders of world
pharmaceutics and produces insulin.

The rector of SSMU added that implementation of the project within the
agreement already started. School students and their parents can consult
concerning healthy nutrition and obesity on the basis of all-medical practice
of higher education institution. Also it is planned to hold thematic events
twice a month.According to Kobyakova, the agreement is calculated on three
years.
Earlier it was reported that the congress "Zdrav 2016" takes place in
Tomsk on November 1-4. The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation,
administration and the Center of cluster development of the Tomsk region,
Siberian State Medical University (SSMU) and Federal Medical-Biological Agency
of Russia act as its organizers. For participation in it more than three
thousand people were registered. Within the congress there take place the
exhibition of scientific developments, round tables, practical seminars and
other actions.
