Tomsk, Alyona Hlestunova. Tomsk "Center of corporate
medicine" (CCM) started medical care of the only Russian oil platform in
the Arctic; the company will train medical staff for work in the conditions of
the Arctic, the press service of the innovative organizations of the Tomsk
region reported on Monday.
Earlier it was reported that Siberian State Medical
University (SSMU) together with the private "Center of corporate
medicine" planned to begin the first in Russia training of physicians for
work in the conditions of the Arctic and offshore fields. In 2015 CCM obtained
the license for training. It was planned that the center will be able not only
to train doctors, but also to train polar explorers and oil industry workers to
competently act in emergencies.
"We work for 10 years in the sphere of remote
health care, we have powerful competences and experience, for this reason we
deserved the right to work in such serious project, and Gazpromneft Shelf
entrusted our company delivery of health care on the oil-field platform Prirazlomnaya,
– the CEO of CCM Sergey Antipov is quoted in the message.

It is noted that Prirazlomnaya – is the only Russian
platform which extracts oil in the conditions of the Arctic for today.
Production is going on there both on shore, and in the sea.
"We have signed the contract for three years, but
there are all bases to assume that cooperation will continue after this term.
We had competitors, these are the serious Russian and international companies.
We was chosen, as we are most precisely conform to all requirements which are
imposed today by projects of this kind", – Antipov told.
It is specified that work started at the beginning of
January. Experts of CCM will conduct training of medical staff on the basis of
the simulation center "Arctic Medical Training", to carry out round
the clock remote support of a remote industrial facility through the
call-center. Also doctors of CCM will work under a rotation system at the
platform in the sea and on the oil-transfer Varandey complex.
"Arctic Medical Training" – is the small
innovative enterprise created by SSMU together with CCM. It is first and the
only training center for medical and not medical personnel in Russia for work
in the conditions of shelf production and the Arctic for the purpose of import
substitution of services for strategically important branches of the Russian
economy.
