Proceeds from sales of services and production of residents of the Tomsk
special economic zone (SEZ) in 2016 increased by 20% compared to 2015 and and
amounted to 3 billion rubles, the press service of the regional administration
reports on Wednesday.
Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Economic
Development of the Russian Federation in August, 2016 delegated responsibility
on management of the Tomsk SEZ to the Tomsk region from the federal level. The
management of the region suggested to delegate with federal on regional level a
part of functions on management of the SEZ, in particular, function of the
customer of construction. Now the Tomsk SEZ is considered one of the most
successful in Russia.
"Total revenue from sale of production and
services of residents of the Tomsk special economic zone in 2016 for 20%
exceeded indicators of 2015 and reached 3 billion rubles. The volume of tax
contributions to budgets of all levels made 314 million rubles", – is said
in the message.
It is noted that in 2016 nine new companies became
residents of the Tomsk SEZ, the volume of the investments declared by them made
1,2 billion rubles. In total last year SEZ residents created 278 jobs – 9%
more, than the previous year. Besides, the volume of the carried-out
investments grown by 47% and amounted to 2,5 billion rubles.
"The special economic zone – is a ready entry
point for investors to the Tomsk region, where for them were created offers,
which can satisfy both small companies, and large-scale production or
knowledge-intensive projects", - the head of the Tomsk SEZ Konstantin
Kaminsky is quoted in the message.
It is added that in 10 years of work the volume of
investments of the Tomsk SEZ reached 10,7 billion rubles, revenue of residents
– 12 billion, and tax assignments – 1,7 billion.
