TOMSK, Jun 8 – RIA Tomsk. Energy-efficient pumping
unit for water injection into formation with efficiency of 700 cubic meters per
day launched at the Yuzhno-Shinginskoye field of Gazpromneft-Vostok; it will
save 272 thousand kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, which is enough to
provide energy for 100-apartment house, the press service of the company said
on Thursday.
Earlier it was reported that Gazpromneft-Vostok
(subsidiary of Gazprom Neft) was recognized as the enterprise fully compliant
with the international standard for energy management (ISO 50001: 2011). The
project "Implementation of Energy Management System" started in
Gazpromneft-Vostok in February 2016, its implementation will reduce energy
consumption by more than 7.1 million kilowatt-hours.
"Gazpromneft-Vostok" introduced at the
Yuzhno-Shinginskoye field the energy-efficient pumping unit (ESCP5A-400E-2000)
with a productivity of 700 cubic meters per day <…> to maintain pressure
(in subsurface - Ed.) ... Its application will save about 272 thousands of
kilowatt-hours of electricity, which is comparable to providing electricity to
a 100-apartment apartment building", - is said in the message.

It is specified that the technical characteristics of
the installation will make it possible to cover the expenses in the first year
of operation. Pumping installation of domestic production, it was produced by
the company "Novomed Perm", the representative of the company
specified RIA Tomsk.
Following the results of pilot works, the decision on
introduction of the energy efficient equipment at other fields of
Gazpromneft-Vostok will be made, is said in the report.
