TOMSK, Sep 21 – RIA Tomsk. PJSC Gazprom will become a
strategic partner of the Quantorium children's science and technology park in
Tomsk; the holding will allocate 15 million rubles for the purchase of
equipment, the press service of the regional administration said on Thursday.
Earlier it was reported that "Quantorium" was opened in Tomsk in
May 2017. This is a new format for additional education for children from the
fifth to the eleventh grades. In the "Quantorium" there are eight
areas of training: robotics, space technology, biotechnology, information
technology, industrial design, supplemented and virtual reality, geoinformation
technologies and aerotechnology.
According to the regional administration, Zhvachkin agreed with the Chairman
of the Board of Directors of Gazprom Alexey Miller on the company will become a
strategic partner of the Quantorium children's science and technology park.
"At the request of the head of the region, the gas holding company will
transfer 15 million rubles for the purchase of equipment for the media center
and the animatronics park in the Quantarium", – is added in the message.

It is also reported that Gazprom will participate in the development of
educational programs for the children's science and technology park.
"The task of the state – is to make education of children interesting,
replete and useful for life. It's good that our point of view is shared by
socially responsible business. The Tomsk region and Gazprom have special
relations that we develop in various directions. Now it is in additional
education of our school students", – the head of the region is quoted in
the message.
