TOMSK, Oct 10 – RIA Tomsk. The new owner of the RusKitInvest
enterprise in Asino of the Tomsk region Hubei timber industry company Fuhan
(People's Republic of China) plans to start a new plant of sawmilling on 200
thousand cubic meters of timber a year to the middle of 2019, the General
Director of RusKitInvest Yao Jingsong told on Tuesday to journalists.
Earlier it was reported that the
timber industry cluster with involvement of the Chinese partners is created in
the region. AVIC Forestry ("subsidiary" of AVIC corporation) launched
the plant on production of interline in the Asino region in 2015, the plant of
sawmilling started in the 2016. Completion dates of construction of the plant
of MDF-boards were repeatedly postponed, last time – for October 2017. In
January, 2017 Asinovsky timber industry complex got a new investor – Hubei
timber industry company "Fuhan" (People's Republic of China).
"We will add capacities for
sawmilling to 300 thousand cubic meters (of sawn timber – Ed.) in a year in the
nearest future… The logging equipment already purchased. The line of sawmilling
will be started in 18 months", – Yao Jingsong told.
He specified that production
capacities on sawmilling of RusKitInvest increases from 100 thousand cubic
meters of timber to 300 thousand cubic meters a year. The volume of investment
into increase in capacities for sawmilling is about 25 billion rubles.
RosKitInvest plans to increase in number of employees due to employment of
inhabitants of Asino.
"Besides the plant of
sawmilling, perhaps, we will open also other productions", – Yao Jingsong
told, without having specified what of projects of the previous owner are
planned to be realized, including he didn't announce plans for start of the
plant of MDF-boards.
Earlier it was reported that after
change of the owner technological, administrative and construction audit took
place at RusKitInvest enterprise that preserved development plans for the
enterprise for some time. The Fuhan Company declared plans to reconsider the
priorities set by AVIC Forestry.
