© РИА Томск. Таисия Воронцова TOMSK, Jul 11 - RIA Tomsk. Applicants of Tomsk State University (TSU) can monitor the
competitive situation in the university by rating lists and know in advance
about their chances of admission, the press service of the university reported
on Thursday.
It is reported that TSU - is one of the few
universities in the Russian Federation, where applicants can daily monitor the
competitive situation when enrolling. According to the norms established by the
Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, by July 27, the
Russian universities are obliged to publish name lists of applicants who are -
intramural student, which reflect the competitive situation. At TSU the rating
lists of university entrants are available on the website of the admission
committee from July 5.
“This helps reduce the nervous tension of potential
students and their families during the admission campaign and have time to
decide in advance where to submit the original documents. The rating list
service has existed at TSU for more than five years, and by the beginning of
the admissions campaign in 2019 it was modernized”, - is said in the statement.
It is specified that the university has formed three
different ratings. The first - is a general list of applicants, where they see
their positions at once in all directions for which they applied. The second -
is the situation in those areas which applicants have indicated as priority.
The third - is the rating of applicants who submitted the original documents
and statements of consent to enrollment.
The lists are updated daily, until the publication of
the relevant orders on enrollment, notes the press service.
