TOMSK, Jun 25 – RIA Tomsk. Tomsk State University invites Tomsk citizens to an online course that will help them find work in an English-speaking country or in an international company, the press service of the university told RIA Tomsk.
It is specified that the course entitled "Career planning: resume/CV, cover letter, interview" is conducted in an online format on the Coursera platform and is already available to students.
"Students will learn how to choose the perfect job, create a resume that is focused on the dream job, write a cover letter, prepare for a successful interview", – is said in the message.
It is added that the author of the course is – Peter Mitchell, associate professor of TSU, a practicing translator and consultant on intercultural communication.

“This course is for you if you want to get a job in any English-speaking country (or an international company that uses English). After more than 10 years helping people in different countries get their dream job, I decided to work with Coursera to do career success is accessible to a global audience”, - Mitchell is cited on the course page.
He said the course will teach Tomsk citizens to stand out from the crowd, make a good impression and highlight their strengths during interviews.
TSU and Coursera
According to the university’s website, TSU became one of the Russian partners of the Coursera international platform in 2015.
In 2020, TSU joined the Coursera for Campus program: all online courses of the university hosted on the platform became available worldwide for students from other universities working with Coursera.
At the same time, students and employees of TSU have free access to almost 4 thousand courses, which one can be enrolled in until July 31.
