TOMSK, Jan 23 – RIA Tomsk. Freshmen of Tomsk State
Pedagogical University (TSPU) want to create a "literary" places'
guide of the city; in the process, they talk on Instagram about Tomsk writers
and poets, about monuments dedicated to classics, and other interesting
literary facts, the curator of the project Olga Muravskaya told RIA Tomsk.
"We want to tell about monuments dedicated to
writers and poets in Tomsk, about writers who live or lived in Tomsk and wrote
about the city. That is, to devote a blog to literature, not just the history
of the city. In general, the guide will be something like an online map of
literary places of the Tomsk region", – the agency's interlocutor said.
According to her, a team of six freshman students of
the Faculty of History and Philology of TSPU is involved in the project. The
idea appeared during the study of the subject "Basics of Project
Activity", when the students were divided into teams and asked to come up
with their own project.
"Our team of six people approached this task very
seriously, responsibly. We knew right away that our project would be related to
our profession and Tomsk. Scrolling through the tourist ratings of Russian
cities, we realized that our city of Tomsk is at the very bottom. This gave us
an impetus to write our project", – Muravskaya said.
For example, students plan to tell about the monuments
to Pushkin, Chekhov, Ellie and her friends near the "Emerald City",
about the writer and poet Vladimir Kryukov and other Tomsk writers. Now they
are thinking over a script for a guide and at the same time posting small clips
on Instagram of the Travel.Tomsk project.
"So far, we are spending our scholarship on all
this, but in the future, we plan to participate in the competition for youth
social projects for the provision of a municipal grant. Now we are shooting the
third video for our blog", - the agency's interlocutor noted.
