The rector also noted that the
cooperation will take into account the existing achievements of the
participants in the field of educational robotics, including TUSUR's
experience in holding large-scale competitions – the Russian stage of
the RoboCup World Championship.
The press release notes
that earlier TUSUR began to cooperate with Promobot, a manufacturer of
autonomous service robots. The university became a participant in
Russia's first master's program Autonomous Service Robots, which has
been implemented since 2020 by Promobot.
Earlier it was
reported that TUSUR employees created a robot that can diversify online
lessons for schoolchildren. It makes electronic educational resources
more interactive, and in the offline format, it can reduce the workload
on the teacher. The robot is placed next to the computer and connected
to it via a local network.
