TOMSK, Feb 4 – RIA Tomsk. Tomsk JSC "Sibkabel" in January, 2016 started the production of granulated rubber, the company press-service informs on Thursday.
"Production of granulated rubber has set of advantages. Bags with granules are easier to transport than pallets with rubber sheets. Besides, such a material is easy to process in a shell or insulation of cables and wires", - the head of the rubber compounds production "Sibkabel" Anatoly Simagin told to the press service.
It is specified that due to its small size (5 x 5 millimetres) granules mix up with other components faster, which makes them more convenient.
According to the press-service, the equipment (for the production of rubber granules) can operate non-stop 24 hours a day. The stop is only necessary to check whether separator grids, through which air for drying of granules moves, clogged up or not.
"Thanks to the new technology "Sibkabel" expanded the assortment of production. Now our consumers can choose rubber in sheets or in granules", - the press-service quoted company director Alexei Kochetkov.
