It is
specified that the tender for creation of production of power plants was won by
scientists from TPU, Mikran research and production company and Institute of
atmospheric optics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science.
"The
project assumes development of the solar power stations scaled on power. The
installed solar panels will be equipped with intellectual system of tracking
the Sun that will allow them to work more effectively", – the press
service of TPU reports.
The project
is till 2018, the grant sum is 260 million rubles.
It is noted
that Tomsk devices will be more precisely than the existing analogs, and also
with longer service life – to 30 years.
According to
TPU, similar power plants will be demanded in remote areas or places, where it
is undesirable to use other ways of obtaining energy – for example, in natural
reserves or zones of ecotourism. Besides, if to replace accumulators with
antenna arrangements, stations can be used for supervision over the Sun and
other celestial bodies.
