20 – RIA Tomsk. The innovative cluster SMART Technologies Tomsk became the
winner of the competition on participation in the priority project of the
Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and will receive
state support, the press service of the regional administration reports on
Thursday.

applications were submitted for the competition. Council of the
"Development of Innovative Clusters — Leaders of World-class Investment
Appeal" project selected 11 clusters which will get support to increase
competitiveness in the world market. The amount of financing isn't specified.
SMART Technologies Tomsk – is the lineal heir of the cluster
"Pharmaceutics, medical equipment and information technologies of the
Tomsk region".
It is noted
that within a cluster 11 perspective markets are defined. Among them – are
technical sight, telemedicine, industrial robotics, probiotics, pharmaceutical
ingredients. Since 2017 the companies of the cluster will begin to advance the
production in these markets. Under each direction the alliance from the companies,
higher education institutions and the scientific organizations will gather.
"We
placed emphasis not on the large industrial enterprises, but on the small and
medium-sized dynamically developing companies and have concentrated on scaling
of business on new hi-tech directions", – quoted in the message the deputy
governor on economy Andrey Antonov presenting the project to the Ministry of
Economic Development.
According
to him, the first alliance will create ingredients and biosubstances. There the
companies "Solagift", "Artlife", "IFAR" and TSU
will enter. The alliance plans to increase GMP production volumes by 10 times,
to increase export of production to 20 countries. The second alliance where the
"Elecard" company acts as a leader, will work on providing UAVs with
technical sight.
"The
third one - ("Micran", "Elecard", "EleSy", Tomsk State University (TSU), Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR), Siberian State Medical University) set the task of
creation of minimally manned technological complexes in extreme climatic
conditions. The fourth one ("EleSy", "Incom", TSU, Tomsk Polytechnic University and TUSUR) is focused on development of decisions for
industrial and medical robotics", – is said in the message.
