TOMSK, Nov 30 – RIA Tomsk. OJSC Tomskneft VNC
(subsidiary of JSC Rosneft and JSC Gazprom Neft) plans to construct the first
in the Tomsk region sludge collector, which will allow to process materials of
boring waste into mixes for repair of roads and strengthening of earth
embankments, until the end of 2017.
Responsibility to nature
"It is not a secret: the company is a
subsoil user according to the license agreement. It is the main document, which
allows to conduct production of raw materials in the region. It obliges to take
the responsibility for observance of the nature protection legislation", –
the head of the Department on Environmental Protection of Tomskneft Valentina
Lyakhova tells.
This year Tomskneft planned to spend more than
2,5 billion rubles for nature protection actions. 30% from them are for
prophylaxis of accidents, 20% – for protection of lands, more than 40% – for
protection of atmospheric air (generally subjects of the gas program). The
remaining funds are for waste management, management of nature protection
activity.
Last year about 2,8 billion rubles were
allocated for the same sphere. Reducing the annual "ecological"
budget by 400 million rubles, according to Lyakhova, is connected with decrease
of the amounts of financing of the program for use of associated gas, as its
most costly actions are almost executed.
The ecologist noted that this year Tomskneft
succeeded to protect the target ecological program for five years cost 6 billion
rubles during investment committee of Rosneft for the first time.
"It means that there will be additional
investments in our ecological program annually. We will be able to realize a
number of actions step by step. For example, one of our sludge collectors (at
Sovetsk field) 20 years old, and it needs re-equipment", – she explained.

Proper use
Tomskneft is engaged in conversion of
production wastes not the first year. According to Lyakhova, these materials
can be utilized (that doesn't reduce their amount and doesn't bring any
benefit), to take out for conversion to other regions (and many funds are
required for it) or to recycle and use for needs of the entity.
One of types of waste is oil slimes: substance,
which is cleaned from various capacitor constructions, pipelines and other
similar objects. Tomskneft processes them, that it was possible to use at
recultivation of lands.
Lyakhova told that clarification of materials
happens on sludge collectors in the concreted holesб where production wastes of
a certain type are unloaded. At the first stage of cleaning special microbes
are added to material and nutrient medium from fertilizers are created for
them, the mass is mixed, oxygen is added, and oxidation process begins.
At the following stage peat is added, which
also changes composition of substance as a result of chemical reactions. After
mass "digested", its state is analyzed and if the structure suitable,
substance is taken out for recultivation. If it's not, then the procedure is
repeated.
About 25 thousand tons of waste of this kind is
processed in a year.
From waste – in building materials
Now the company develops the project for
creation of the first in the Tomsk region sludge collector for other materials
– boring waste. They are drilled solids, the fulfilled drilling mud fluid and
boring sewage.
According to Lyakhova, specialists of the
company looked for together with scientists of TomskNIPIneft within several
months, in what area it is better to apply the processed waste. "Different
options are considered: road compositions, soil-cement, another – there is a
lot of variations", – the ecologist explained.

The first sludge collector is planned to be
constructed on the Sovetsk field by the end of 2017. After construction of the
facility on the Vakh field, where stronger soil-cement mixes will be received,
is planned.
According to her, the mixes received on the
sludge collector of the Soviet field will be used not only for recultivation of
lands, but also for the elementary construction works: ridging of well pads,
adding roads and embankments and other purposes.
"Liquid and solid waste is divided at the
beggining. Firm waste go to processing, and liquid are clarified and go already
without suspension to our system of maintenance of pressure of boreholes (it is
necessary "to push out" oil from under the earth - the Edition). The
suspension goes to solid waste", – Lyakhova told.
She specified that solid waste has to have a
certain durability to turn into material for construction. Mix is strengthened
by cement and other substances. In this case it is possible to receive the
materials similar to gravel or sand at the exit.
"There is a need for such materials. They
are planned to be used for our needs. We have a big need for a quarry soil for
operating activities on those fields, where sandpits are developed for today, –
for example, on Sovetsk. And, for example, we need to add to the place of
equipment failure regularly", – the representative of Tomskneft explained.
It is supposed that the sludge collector on
Sovetsk will be able to process 10 thousand tons of boring waste a year. At the
exit, taking into account additives, it is supposed to receive the same 10
thousand tons of mixes annually.
"Life will show, how effective it will be.
Let's look at first what will turn out. If everything develops successfully,
then experience can be replicated on other fields", – Lyakhova summed up.
