TOMSK, Jun 25 – RIA Tomsk. Eleven new master programs will
appear in Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) in 2018; "Development of
Internet-applications", "Clear Water" and "Digital
Marketing" are among them, the press service of the university reports on
Monday.
It is specified that this year the number of the state-funded places in
Master's degree programme of TPU grуw till 1320. Inclusion in Master's degree
programme is conducted on 34 directions, 11 of which are new.
"They are "Development of Internet-applications ",
"Industrial Tomography of Complex Systems", "Rehabilitation and
Auxiliary Technologies Engineering ", "Thermal and Nuclear Power
Plants", "Automation of Heat-and-Power Processes",
"Technologies of Industrial Heat Engineering", "Cyberphysical
Automation of High-Tech Processes and Industries", – the press service
specifies.

It is added that also among new programs are "Analysis and Control
in Biotechnological and Pharmaceutical Productions", "Clear
Water", "Digital Marketing" and "Technological Brokerage".
In 2018 entrants in the MA course in TPU can choose an individual
trajectory of training – engineer, researcher or technostarter. Seven TPU
engineering schools and branch of the university in Yurga, researchers –
Research School of Chemistry & Applied Biomedical Sciences and Research
School of High-Energy Physics, technostarters – School of Engineering
Entrepreneurship are engaged in training of engineers.
It is added that both research schools "provided additional grants
for students", and undergraduates of the School of Engineering
Entrepreneurship will be able to embody a business idea at the end of training
if it is interesting from the point of view of commercialization.
