9 – RIA Tomsk. The international research network SecNet of Tomsk State University (TSU) will receive financing from Embassy of Great Britain in Russia on carrying out a seminar for foreign scientists about joint studying of Siberia and its influence on formation of climate on all planet in Salekhard, the press service of the university reported on Monday.
According
to the press service, the seminar to foreign scientist and to representatives
of the international funds with the presentation of the SecNet of TSU projects
on studying of Siberia and its influence on formation of climate of Earth will
take place in the capital of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area Salekhard in
September, 2018. Financial support in meeting will be given by the British Embassy.
"Scientists
of the network SecNet TSU, uniting Russian and foreign Siberia researchers, won
a grant of the British Embassy. The British side will finance holding a seminar
within which plans for new joint researches will be drawn up and the presentation
of projects of SecNet for foreign scientists will take place", – it is
said in the statement.

It is noted
that organizers plan to attract participants of the international monitoring of
climatic changes in the Arctic in the seminar: "The foreign participants
are not familiar with the territory of Siberia, but having professional
interest to it, will be able to get acquainted with activity of SecNet and to
find partners among Russian researchers".
It is added
that aboriginals of the North – Sami, Khanty, Nenets and Zyrians who will tell
scientists about the observations of changes in the nature will also become
participants of the seminar. This information, according to the press service
of TSU, can form the basis of new international researches of global climate.
