TOMSK, Jul 16 – RIA Tomsk. Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) and Huawei
Company signed the agreement on assignment to the university of the status of
the Huawei Authorized Information and Network Academy; teachers of TPU will be
able to become certified instructors of the academy, and students – to study
according to programs of Huawei, the press service of the university reports on
Monday.
Earlier it was reported that TPU and
Huawei intended to sign the agreement on opening of Authorized Information and
Network Academy in the university in April, 2018. After its opening students of
TPU will be able to take training courses of the company on the basis of the
university and take examination for obtaining certificate from Huawei free of
charge which confirms knowledge of network technologies and skills of support
of networks of the enterprise.
"TPU and world telecommunication
giant Huawei signed the agreement on assignment to the university of the status
of the Huawei Authorized Information and Network Academy", – it is said in
the statement.
It is noted that the new status will
allow teachers of School of Computer Science & Robotics of TPU to have
training in Huawei and to become certified instructors of the Academy. And
students who study in the "Informatics and Computer Engineering"
direction will get access to the educational and methodical materials developed
in Huawei.

It is added that one of perspective
points of interaction of TPU and Huawei scientists is researches in the field
of data transmission on networks of mobile communication 5G and collaborations
in the field of the Internet of things in health care.
