TOMSK, Feb 7 – RIA
Tomsk. The "Siberian Agrarian Group" in 2019 will
invest about 700 million rubles in facilities at the "Tomskiy" pig
farm and the "Tomskaya" poultry farm, the chairman of the board of
directors of the holding Andrey Tyutyushev told journalists; he clarified that
the holding’s investment program for the current year could be about 2.5
billion rubles.
According to him, at
the "Tomskiy" pig farm will be improved the production of animal feed
on its territory, which was launched last year, and will be built additional
capacity to increase the volume of pork production.
"The total
investment in the pig complex will be about half a billion rubles. The
investment project will also be implemented at the "Tomskaya" poultry
farm, where construction of its own feed mill worth about 200 million will
begin", - Tyutyushev said.
In general, the holding
volume of investments will be about 2.5 billion rubles.
“We also plan to build
new feedlots at the pig complex in Buryatia. Last year we built them on our
Ural pig complex, thanks to this, in 2019 the holding will be able to reach a
cumulative production of 160 thousand tons of pork (per year, from the current
152 thousand)”, - Tyutyushev reported.

“In Krasnoyarsk, we are
starting to design a plant for deep processing of grain. In a separate area we
allocate crop production (production of wheat, barley, soy beans for our own
needs), which we will develop in the south of Kuzbass, Novosibirsk region and
Krasnoyarsk Krai”, - the head of the holding told.
He also did not rule
out mergers and acquisitions: “I don’t see any particular prospects in pig
production, primarily because of the inevitable crisis of overproduction, so we
don’t plan to develop globally. If we buy any enterprises, then only to
continue the production chain. So, last year we purchased the "Good
Taste" meat processing plant in Sverdlovsk (Yekaterinburg), thus
increasing the output of the final product".
