TOMSK, Jun 26 - RIA Tomsk. The departments of architecture and construction and health of the Tomsk region, Union of Architects of Russia, as well as scientific community will prepare the terms of reference (TOR) for the construction of future campus on the left bank of the Tom, is reported on Wednesday in the official group of the administration of the region on Facebook.
Earlier it was reported that the regional authorities are planning to build on the left bank of Tom a student campus on 20 thousand people within the framework of the "Education" national project. It will be connected to the city center and to the existing buildings of higher education institutions by a pedestrian bridge. The governor announced the international competition to develop the architectural concept of the campus.
"Terms of reference and technical specification for it (campus) is prepared by the regional department of architecture and construction together with the Union of Architects of Russia. Universities, scientific community and even the department of health are involved in this work (it is preparing a medical-technical task). It is assumed that at least 10 concepts from international teams will participate in the competition", - is said in the statement.
It is added that the authorities expect to get a ready-made concept in 2020. Then begin the phased design and construction.

"Since the campus - is a lot of objects for different purposes, it is unlikely that one or two contractors will be involved in designing and building. Of course, it’s impossible to name them now, it will be companies that are willing and able to participate in the project", - is emphasized in the message.
It is also reported that there will be a public discussion of the concept. It is possible to participate in it now on the pages of the regional administration in social networks.
