Tomsk. Fans of
German language will be able to take part in the international language forum,
which will be held in September by Tomsk State University (TSU); its program
includes – music seminar, master classes and lectures for professionals and
amateurs, the assistant professor of the TSU German language department
Anastasia Moreva informed RIA Tomsk.
According to the website of
the university TSU has opened accepting of applications for participation in
the international scientific forum "German Language in the Modern World:
Status and Corps Studies and Teaching Methodology Issues". Applications
for speeches on linguistics, literary criticism and teaching methods are
accepted until August 25. At the same time, everyone can participate.
"We invite all interested
parties. There will be participants giving presentations, organizing seminars.
At the same time, admission to the forum is free, Tomsk fans of German language
will be able to come. On the first day, for example, they will be able to attend
a large music seminar with translation of Russian songs into German", –
Moreva said.

According to TSU, during
the forum it is planned to discuss the problems of the status of the German
language in Russia and in the world, case studies of the German language and
other issues. A student section is also planned.
Moreva added that the forum
will be held on September 18 and 19. A detailed program of events and a list of
international participants are currently being specified. “It is already known
that there will be speakers from Goethe-Institut”, - the interlocutor of the
agency said.
According to open sources, the Goethe-Institut
is a German cultural institution with branches operating in many countries
around the world.
