TOMSK, Oct 8 - RIA Tomsk. Tomsk State University (TSU) together with its partners, including Rubius, will hold an open online training for schoolchildren and students on October 9, where experts will teach participants how to "pack" startups using Lean Startup technology, Deputy Director of the Entrepreneurship Center of TSU Institute of Economics and Management Elena Lazareva told RIA Tomsk on Friday.
She specified that the online training called Lean Startup will be held under the auspices of the TomskHUB project organised by Rubius. In addition to TSU and Rubius, the event will be organized by the regional administration and the Center for Innovative Development of the Tomsk Region. The goal of Lean Startup is to form entrepreneurial thinking and basic skills of technological entrepreneurship among Tomsk youth.
"TSU has already held an event within the framework of TomskHUB called Startup Construction in September, and now Lean Startup. We are inviting students from all universities and colleges, high school students who are interested in technological entrepreneurship. We are counting on fifty participants," Lazareva said.

She clarified that the organizers will teach the participants to use the Lean Startup tool, "It's the so-called "lean startup", when the entrepreneur does not bring the product to perfection, but uses quick tools to test hypotheses and make changes. Our expert Natali Ababij has been using this tool herself for many years."
The program of the online event includes theoretical and practical parts. The results of the practical work will be assessed by invited expert entrepreneurs. As these are not yet business projects, but rather learning ones, the experts will assess how well pupils and students have been able to apply their knowledge, their creativity and presentation skills.
The event will take place online on October 9 from 2 pm to 6 pm. Registered users will receive a link to join. Registration by link >>>
