TOMSK, Sep 25 – RIA Tomsk. Tomsk (TSU) and Chechen State Universities (CHSU) discussed the prospects for cooperation and development of joint projects in the field of medicine; Tomsk university presented its developments in the areas of IT technologies, big data, medicine and metallurgy, and also practices for transforming educational programs, the press service of TSU said.
"Representatives of TSU presented to their colleagues scientific projects, including in the field of bio- and translational medicine ... The First Vice-Rector of CHSU Zaur Kindarov emphasized that they are interested in the development of joint projects in the field of medicine - spectral analysis and MRI", - says the message.
In addition, delegations from CHSU were shown the projects to create an electronic educational environment and a digital university and presented the experience of Tomsk university in transforming the educational system to train highly sought-after specialists: Higher School of Journalism, Higher IT School (HITs) and a broad bachelor's degree at the Faculty of Historical and Political Sciences (FHPS).

It is added that the rector of TSU Eduard Galazhinsky also told the guests about how the university has changed over the past seven years, its values, management models and the principle of ecosystems.
“It is important for us to share an idea of how we are developing so that you look at our cases in the logic of possible interaction, since today global projects are possible only with the cooperation of the capabilities of universities, institutes and industrial partners”, - Rector Galazhinsky is quoted in the message.
According to the press service, at the moment universities are already cooperating in the field of big data, and in 2019 Chechen university entered the University consortium of big data researchers, created on the initiative of TSU three years ago.
