Tomsk. Tomsk State University (TSU) will hold an open online lecture on big data on October
6; a university scientist will tell how big data changes the life of a modern
person, an employee of the TSU press service told RIA Tomsk on Tuesday.
According to him, the
lecture "Big data in the life of modern man" will be held within the
framework of the XI All-Russian Science Festival "NAUKA 0 +".
"The head of the
educational and scientific laboratory of computer learning tools at TSU, Artyom
Feschenko, will tell how big data change human life and present the
university's projects in the field of artificial intelligence on October 6
(Wednesday). The broadcast will be held on the TSU Youtube channel," the
source said.
The lecture will begin at
16.00 Tomsk time.
Earlier it was reported
that from October 4 to 8 in Tomsk the festival "NAUKA 0 +" takes
place. Its program includes about 70 events - lectures from Tomsk scientists,
podcasts about science, excursions to scientific laboratories, scientific
shows, quests, competitions and creative workshops. Participation in the
science festival is free, pre-registration is required.
